Ethan has a passion for reaching the next generation for Christ. Young people can do great things for the Kingdom, and Ethan loves to invest in those people to help them grow in Christ. Ethan has a heart for discipleship and relationship building, which is the core of his ministry strategy. Students and young adults can/will do great things for the Kingdom, and he is excited to see that happen at FBC Somerville!             

Ethan has served in churches throughout middle and west Tennessee. He has served as the Student and Recreation Pastor at FBC McKenzie, and has served as Student Pastor at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Columbia, TN. He has also served part-time at various other churches and has worked for LifeWay Christian Resources.

Ethan obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi College, Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ethan met his wife Ariella in the summer of 2016 and they married fall of 2017. Ariella is a neonatal intensive care nurse originally from the Clarksville, Tennessee area. Ethan and Ariella have the cutest daughter in the world, Lydia Grace. They welcomed the birth of their son, John Mark, in November of 2022.
