Stan began serving First Baptist Church as Senior Pastor on December 1, 2015.  He loves the local church and missions having served over the last 46 years in 8 churches (including planting a church) in Tennessee and Texas, while also serving as Director of Missions of Big Hatchie Baptist Association in Covington, Tn.  He has led numerous mission trips to Thailand, Taiwan, Ecuador, South Africa, Alaska and Idaho.  He is a graduate of Union University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Christian Studies.  Presently, Stan is serving on the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

Stan and his wife, Monica, have a daughter, three sons and 8 grandchildren.
