“Hope For The Future” is a new sermon series on Revelation each Sunday morning. Revelation 1:3: “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things written in it” is a promise from God. Come be blessed in worship!
Fayette Baptist Association Annual Meeting will be Monday evening, October 19, beginning with a meal at 5:30, with the meeting following. This is a special year for FBA as we celebrate 100 years as an association. Also, this year’s meeting will be at Rossville Baptist Church in their brand-new building. FBC called Toby Stone on our staff to serve as pastor of a new church plant in March 2018. Rossville began meeting at Rossville Academy. The mission was constituted as a church on July 4, 2021, and this year on April 29, Rossville held its first service and dedication of its new building.
All our church committees will meet on Sunday, October 11 at 5:30 pm to prepare for the new church year. If you serve on a committee, let me say “Thank you” on behalf of our church. All that we do as a church would not happen without your willingness to serve. Please reserve this date!

Student Ministry and Recreation

God is doing some special things in our student ministry right now! Sunday and Wednesday attendance has been strong, and more importantly, our students are coming hungry to learn what the Bible teaches—that's an answer to prayer and a real sign of spiritual growth. We've also seen several students step up to sing and help lead worship on stage during our Wednesday night services, with more students expressing interest in joining the worship team soon. It's exciting to watch these students grow not just in their faith, but in their willingness to serve others using what God has given them.
Our recent study on the gospel and mental health has struck a chord, and we've even seen some of our Wednesday night students begin joining us for Sunday morning Bible study as a result. With youth Bible study now meeting in the C.A.C. on Sunday mornings, we're expecting even bigger attendance on Sunday mornings as we continue digging into topics our students are asking for. Looking ahead, mark your calendars for a fun youth trip to Jupiter Comics and Collectibles on October 11th from noon to 3 p.m. This is a great chance for our students to connect outside the church walls. As our ministry continues to grow, we're also asking our church family to prayerfully consider whether God may be leading you to serve on Wednesday nights. If you sense Him stirring your heart toward our students, we'd love to talk with you about how you can get involved. We're grateful for all God is doing and can't wait to see what's next.
